U.S. Innovative Teachers Forum
September 27-28, 2007

The U.S. Microsoft Innovative Teachers Forum, supported by the National Staff Development Council (NSDC) and the National Commission On Teaching and America's Future (NCTAF), will bring together outstanding K-12 learning teams demonstrating 21st century skills in their teaching and learning. Selected learning teams will receive paid airfare, hotel and other travel expenses on behalf of their school*. They will be invited to attend the Forum which will take place September 27th and 28th, 2007, on the Microsoft Corporate Campus in Redmond, Washington.

The Forum will provide learning teams the opportunity to share expertise, engage collaboratively with their peers, and grow professionally through a series of learning projects. In addition, Forum attendees will have the opportunity to develop ongoing professional relationships with their peers from around the country - relationships extending beyond the conclusion of the Forum.

A subset of U.S. Forum participants will be selected to represent the United States at the Worldwide Microsoft Innovative Teachers Forum in Finland in November 2007. How to submit an application for your learning team

  1. Download the Forum Application document, and follow the instructions to create your team's application.

  2. After you fill out the Forum Application, complete and submit the quick form below to provide your contact information and to send us your team's Forum Application.
  3. Microsoft will review all applications and respond by August 15, 2007. Selected schools will then be invited to the Forum at Microsoft's Corporate Campus!
  4. If you have questions about the application process, or run into any difficulties while downloading the application template or uploading your submission, please send an email to teachers@microsoft.com
